Happy New Year from Russia

With all the bad news we get, it's nice to report on some good news. Especially, when it come from Russia, which is not often the source of good news. With a war against Muslim separatists, a monstrous suicide bombing by Muslim "Peaceniks", and having someone like Putin as your leader, life can be tough. But there was some good news on the Muslim terrorist front recently.

As you may know, the Russian Orthodox New Year occurs in mid January. This year as Islamists prepared to send another message of Muslim tolerance, joy and love, by strapping on a suicide vest, they received something unexpected. The vest was to be detonated by a spotter via cell phone when the female suicide bomber, from the religion of Peace and Tolerance, had reached a position where she would be able to murder the greatest number of infidels. However, before this could happen the woman's service provider sent out a mass message to all its customers wishing them all a happy new year. And indeed it was, the woman exploded right then, while still in the safe house. The terrorist wanted to spread the message of Islam, but only managed to spread herself all over the apartment.

As one report on the event stated, it "might be the only time that a wireless carrier’s SMS message has ever been useful". See also
